@Nishijin Along the narrow street, you can see old houses. They are Machiya(町屋). Machiya are traditional Kyoto residence. They have narrow frontages and deep lots. So sometime, They are called "eel bed"
Recently, lots of them turn into cafes, restaurants , shops, and so on...
A very cool shot! I like the color tones here.
